Jaguar Academy Mission
Jaguar Academy at the Language Academy of Sacramento provides a safe, engaging, and enriching after-school environment where students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Through a combination of academic enrichment, physical activities, and hands-on learning, we empower students to build self-esteem, confidence, and collaborative skills for their future success.
We believe in the power of community, where families, students, and staff work together to support each child's growth. Our Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) system encourages self-control, responsibility, and respect.
At Jaguar Academy, students engage in diverse activities like STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), robotics, arts, and sports, all while developing essential life skills in a fun, inclusive, and supportive space.

Program Funding Information
Jaguar Academy is funded by two key sources:
- After School Education and Safety (ASES): A program established through Proposition 49 (2002), which supports local after-school education and enrichment opportunities for elementary and middle school students.
- Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P): Funded by the 2021–22 Budget Act, providing after-school and intersession/summer programs for students from transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. Students who qualify for free programming (e.g., through income eligibility, foster care status, or as designated English Learners) can participate at no cost.

Jaguar Academy – New Sign-Out System (Starting January 5th)
1. Update Your Information
Please make sure the main office has your current:
- Cellphone number
- Email
- Emergency contacts
2. Authorized Adults Only
Adults listed in the LAS school database may sign out students.
- No underage family members or friends may pick up students.
- The adult picking up must come to the office for verification.
3. Easy Sign-Out Process
- No profile creation needed.
- Enter the cellphone number or email that matches our school records.
- We recommend using your cellphone number for the fastest temporary code.
- Take some time before January to stop by our office and practice the Mobile Sign-Out procedure. Just ask to try our demo, and we’ll walk you through it .
4. Early Pick-Up Protocol
Sign-out will be automatically time-stamped.
- Please pick up students after the 2-hour mark,
- Unless you have an Early Release Agreement with the ELP program.

2. Solo Adultos Autorizados
Adultos registrados en la base de datos escolar de LAS podrán recoger a los estudiantes.

- El adulto que recoja debe pasar por la oficina para verificar su información.
3. Proceso de Salida Fácil
- No necesita crear un perfil.
- Ingrese el número de celular o correo electrónico que coincida con la información en nuestro sistema escolar.
- Recomendamos usar el número de celular para recibir el código temporal más rápido.
- Tómense un momento antes de enero para pasar por nuestra oficina y practicar el procedimiento de Salida Móvil. Solo pidan probar nuestra demostración y con gusto los guiaremos.
4. Protocolo de Salida Temprana
La salida tendrá un registro automático de la hora.
- Por favor recoja a su estudiante después de las 2 horas,
- A menos que tenga un Acuerdo de Salida Temprana con el programa ELP.
